A Farewell, a Masterclass, and a Deeper Awakening
In July, I traveled unexpectedly to India to say goodbye to my beloved mother-in-law, Jyoti—her name means divine light. She passed peacefully in the middle of the night, and what followed was a sequence of beautiful, grounding, deeply spiritual rituals that helped guide her soul and hold the family through the grief.
In Mumbai, I witnessed Hindu funeral rites for the first time. Her body stayed at home, on ice, as they waited for family from around the world to arrive. We offered her shrouds (a shroud is a cloth used to cover the body, symbolizing purity and peace), petals, and love—barefoot, grounded, present. Later, her son led the way with incense to the hearse, guiding her body to the cremation site. There, surrounded by family and friends, prayers, flowers, sandalwood, and ghee, we honored her transition with intention.
The Role of Agni in Hindu Cremation Ceremonies
What struck me most deeply was the presence of Agni—fire—not just as a physical element, but as a divine force. In Hindu tradition, Agni is not merely the agent of cremation; she is the sacred messenger between the earthly and the divine realms. She carries the soul’s essence upward, releasing it from the body and delivering it to the next stage of its journey.
Jyoti's body was placed on a funeral pyre—a bed of wood and fragrant offerings. Ghee was poured with reverence. Prayers were chanted. And then, Agni was invited to begin her sacred work.
A return. A transformation. Through Agni, the body is offered back to the five elements: earth, water, fire, air, and aether (or spirit). Through Agni, the soul is liberated.
This experience reminded me that fire purifies. It does not destroy—it refines. It clears the path. In this way, Agni became a teacher that day, showing me how even in endings, there is light, movement, and divine grace.
These rituals are not only about saying goodbye—they’re about liberating the spirit. And through them, something became clear to me: the body is in the spirit, not the spirit in the body. That understanding didn’t just come from the ceremony, but also from something I had just encountered —Jeffrey Allen’s Duality Masterclass.
I had done the exercises a few days ago, and suddenly, everything clicked for me. Jyoti had been, in many ways, a master of the material and spiritual balance. She lived with both feet grounded in the world—raising a family, caring for her patients, keeping up with the day-to-day—and yet she never lost touch with something deeper. Witnessing her farewell helped me see what Jeffrey’s teachings are pointing toward: we all live in a dual world, and when we become aware of it, we start to live with much more ease, trust, and intuition.

Lessons from the Duality Masterclass That Came Alive in India
These lessons reminded me of something simple yet transformative:
When we recognize the subtle energies at play—the intuitive nudges, the ancestral memories, the emotional imprints—we begin to live more fully, more freely.
These steps work well to introduce you to the energetic shift that happens when we awaken both worlds.
1. Clarity and Intuition
What is your true intention? Is it yours, or someone else's dream for you? Saying goodbye to Jyoti brought this question into focus. She lived her truth. And you, are you living yours?
2. Feel Energy
Energy is not something abstract—it’s present, felt, and moving. I saw it in every ritual, every prayer, every tear, and every shared memory.
3. Removing Blockages
Fear dissolves when we reconnect to our purpose. The love and strength felt during Jyoti's farewell reminded me that love is much bigger than fear.
4. Exploring Your Path
We often force decisions, but sometimes the answers appear when we simply wait and feel. The silence between moments in India held so much wisdom.
5. Letting Life Unfold
Synchronicities are real. This journey of mourning, learning, and connecting was not planned, but it unfolded with such grace that I can only bow in gratitude.
If You're Struggling to Connect...
If you’re feeling: I don’t have intuition, I can’t tune in...
Know this—you simply have too much noise around you. It’s completely normal to feel disconnected from your inner guidance in our busy, overstimulated world. But please remember:
Everyone is intuitive. Everyone is a healer.
It is part of being human.
This is where healing begins—where clarity replaces confusion and stillness reveals truth.
We live in a Dual World—a material world and a spiritual world. And everything is energy. If you feel stuck or disconnected, it’s not because you’re doing something wrong physically. It’s likely because you haven’t made space to be silent, to sit with yourself, and to truly listen.
Silence your mind. Breathe. Connect with the energy. Let the synchronicities guide you. Tap into your intuition.
The universe is waiting to bring you everything you deserve—abundance, love, healing, clarity, and success.
Are you ready to receive it?
Let’s Walk This Path Together
Life becomes easier—and much more joyful—when we live from that place of inner connection.
Through my yoga practice, workshops, or retreats, I invite you to journey with me toward the joy of life through wisdom, tuning into your energy body and spiritual body, as well as the mental, emotional, and physical layers of your being.
Let’s meet in this space of awareness and transformation.
Let’s live in both worlds—with presence, softness, and strength.
Bring the unconscious world into consciousness.
Let’s walk this path together…
With love and trust,

This is very beautiful and inspiring. Im inspired to look to my soul for more guidance, slow down, and sit in silence more often. I used to believe sitting in silence was unproductive but am finding its actually super productive in grounding my intuition to
guide me through my day.
Beautifully explained 🤗
