A 3-Night / 4-Day Silence & Nature Winter Retreat in Belgium
08–11 January 2026 | La Roche-en-Ardenne
How often do you truly take time for yourself?
How often do you really slow down, disconnect from the outside world, and simply be?
Have you ever listened — really listened — to your inner voice?

About the Retreat
A Journey Inward is an invitation to pause — to return to yourself, to heal, and to begin again with clarity, stillness, and warmth.
This retreat is for you if you often feel overwhelmed by the busyness of life, if you’re caught up in doing and striving, and if you long to reconnect with what truly feels good and authentic.
It’s a space to rest, reflect, and rediscover your essence through silence, mindful movement, and connection with nature.
In a world filled with noise and constant motion, A Journey Inward offers a sanctuary to rest, breathe, and reconnect.
Over four days, surrounded by the stillness of winter nature, you’ll have time to slow down, soften, and rediscover your natural rhythm.
The practices you’ll experience are more than moments of retreat — they are tools for life, helping you live with more ease, awareness, and freedom from stress.
Each element – from movement and breath to stillness and silence – is designed to help you reconnect with your essence and carry that sense of presence into daily life.
On the second day, as an example, I’ll share a simple yet powerful cleansing ritual – Jala Neti - to clear the nasal passages, strengthen the immune system, and awaken clarity in the mind.
Practiced daily, this ancient yogic technique helps you begin each morning with focus, freshness, and lightness – a beautiful way to align body, breath, and awareness.

Meet Your Guides
“I’m Ludmila, and I’ll be guiding the daily yoga, meditation, and somatic movement sessions during the retreat.
Through my own journey of exploring the body and its connection to breath and awareness, I’ve learned that true presence arises when we allow ourselves to slow down and simply be. Yoga has taught me that every movement, every breath, is an invitation to return home — to the body, to the heart, to this very moment.
I intend to hold a space where you can reconnect with your breath, awaken inner stillness, and meet yourself with compassion. Through mindful movement and embodied awareness, we soften, release, and open the path toward balance and renewal. This gentle practice can bring more clarity, peace, and aliveness into our lives.”
“I’m Katriina, a mindfulness practitioner with a deep love for forests and the quiet wisdom they offer. I know how daunting silence and stillness can feel — which is why I’ve always sought them in the forest and the sauna. I grew up with the forests and specifically the sauna; it’s a tradition I carry in my bones. In my culture, the sauna is a place beyond wellness: a sacred, everyday space for transformation through cleansing, birthing, and healing, a place where people return to simplicity and truth. During the retreat, I’ll guide you through gentle forest bathing practices and a sauna ceremony that invite you, through your senses, back into your body, where the mind can settle, and you can come home to yourself.”

Meet the supporting team
“I am Gwenn, and I’ll be supporting you during the retreat with guidance that helps you reconnect with your body and inner essence.
Through my own journey — from a demanding career to listening deeply to my body’s signals — I learned how physical symptoms can become invitations to pause and rediscover who we truly are.
By connecting with the body, we open doors to (self) discovery and (self) healing — inviting more balance, vitality, and authenticity into our lives.”

“I’m Deep, and I’ll be nourishing you during the retreat with food made with presence, care, and love.
My approach to cooking is rooted in the belief that food is more than nourishment — it is connection, creativity, and an expression of balance.
Through plant-based and vegetarian, seasonal meals prepared with mindfulness, we aim to support your inner journey — grounding the body, soothing the senses, and awakening joy.
Each dish is a gentle invitation to slow down, savour, and reconnect with the essence of life itself.”

Entering Silence
Silence is the heart of this retreat — a sacred space where you can turn inward and truly listen.
It is an invitation to step away from external noise and distractions, allowing the mind to settle and the body to rest.
During this time, we’ll disconnect from all forms of communication and stimulation: no talking, reading, or use of electronic devices.
On the first evening, we’ll gently collect your phones and return them at the end of the retreat, so you can experience the full depth of stillness without interruption.
In silence, something profound begins to unfold, your intuition begins to blossom.
Without the constant pull of the outside world, you start to hear your own inner rhythm — the quiet wisdom that lives within.
As the layers of distraction fall away, a new sense of clarity, presence, and trust in your inner guidance naturally emerges.
This is where healing and reconnection begin: in the spaciousness of simply being.
